James Tuttiett
Managing Director

James Tuttiett formed the investment and management group in 1991 and has worked in the freehold ground rent investment, management and property arena since then.

James leads the highly professional and experienced management team.

 

Chris Jarvis
Chief Operations Manager

Chris Jarvis FCCA joined the group early in 2009 after spending 12 years working in accountancy practice at senior management level.

Chris brings a very strong understanding of analysis and finance to the group and has developed a number of tools which are a key part of our approach to purchasing. Chris has strong relationships with professionals in banking, legal and valuation which assist with his responsibility for overseeing our purchase process.

 

Christopher Beamish
Consultant Surveyor and Estates Manager

Christopher Beamish MBA FRICS MIRPM is the Manager of E&J Estates and is the group's consultant chartered surveyor. Christopher has over 30 years experience in property.

In 1990 he was the National Director of Residential Lettings and Block Management for General Accident Property Services and on the Senior Management Team.

Since 1996 he has specialised in residential leasehold property. He is a known expert in his field and appears regularly at Leasehold Valuation Tribunals as both expert witness and advocate; being appointed in 2005 as Manager/Receiver.

Christopher Beamish is supported by an experienced team of administrators, credit control and accounts technicians who together with our specialist IT solutions enable large numbers of FGRs to be effectively and efficiently managed.

Peter Smith
Group Head of Legal

Peter Smith LLB qualified as a lawyer in 1994 and has specialised in property law since then as a solicitor in the City, as a construction litigator, as senior solicitor running a team focused on RSL shared ownership work and as the in-house property solicitor at McCarthy and Stone (where he handled portfolio transactions valued at over £140 million).

He is part of the E&J Capital Partners Team dealing principally with acquisitions.
